What does a broken belt in my Mazda 2009 CX7 sound like?

I was driving home going 30 miles an hour and developed a loud  ticking notice.

That might be a partially broken belt. Open the hood and take a look.

Would possible sound like a slapping noise , but it would be a quick noise because the belt would be gone, best bet is to look
