I always have heat from my 2009 challenger R/T. even ifi put ac still hvae heat.

All cars have heat all the time but the Diverter/Mixer doors in the vent determine what path the air travels. The doors are usually moved by vacuum from the engine, With the engine running and no radio/CD noise in the car try changing from heat to AC back and forth a few time .. you should hear the sound of the door actuators ,, if not then it's the directional switch on the dash but if you do hear a noise then an actuator (under dash) is working but the linkage to the door has failed
