Ford Flex ac

Asked by Ginger0647 Jun 18, 2018 at 09:33 AM about the 2009 Ford Flex Limited AWD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

A year ago our ac compressor stopped
working and had to be replaced. Not long
after that we noticed the ac was blowing
out barely cool or warm air, and when we
shut it off there’s a knocking noise behind
the dash. We were on vacation when the
compressor went out so we have not been
able to go back to the shop that fixed it.
The refrigerate is reading as full. Any idea
what is going on?

Most likely it's the blend door which is a little motor gear module thats moves the door back and forth directing the air or heat if you got the heater on

Thanks ton789. I did notice that sometimes when I hit a bump it’ll either get cool or warm. Is this typically a difficult fix?
