AWD/DSC comes on sometimes??? and Navigation is not reading the gps disk says please insert disk???

For you navigation concern BMW has a bulletin out about the navigation disc drives failing and not reading the disc. You will have to have that drive replaced with the updated one. For your DSC light coming on there could be two common issues. Either the steering angle sensor could be going bad. Or the battery in the vehicle has become weak and may need replacment. But if you do need to replace the battery BMW is now only selling upgraded batteries called AGM (glass mat) the vehicle will need to be programmed for the new battery. If you put an aftermarket battery in you will need to have it registered to the vehicle to prevent the vehicle over charging the battery. Hope this helps.

Went on a decent trip and my 535i seemed to be running shaky when I pulled up. This sensor For low oil cane on next day and I was one quart low. Also days later the 4x4 was/dsc stability indicator came on - I did see a video where u can reset by turning wheel left to rt But still running shaker. What would this be?
