my 2007 BMW 525xi: the AWD, DSC, ABS and emergency brake warning message came on.

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I was  on a 450 mile drive yesterday with 100 miles left when the warning message came on.  What does this mean and how much will it cost to repair?  Is it worth repairing.  Additional detail: I had a rebuilt transmission put in last year.  Two weeks ago I had problems with that, last year they never replaced a valve that cost me $3,000 to replace this year.  Is my new problem related to this?  Thanks!

A new transmission in an '07? That's something I haven't seen. I'm not sure it this would also apply to the 2004-2010 5 series, but the lights could be due to a bad ABS module or wheel speed sensor. I didn't read through this completely, but take a look at this link, too: http://www.bimmerfest.com/forums/showthread.php?p=4208966
