I'm about to buy a used 2008 750li with over 85,000 miles on it is it a good idea

If buying from a dealer get an extended warranty. If buying from an individual purchase an extended warranty. If you don't get an extended warranty make sure you have lots of cash in your bank account because repairs on 750 BMWs will be VERY expensive. With 85,000 miles on it there will be repairs in your not too distant future.
