2006 750IL BMW 55K miles. Is it a good used vehicle? Are repairs going to be costly for the next 2 years and about 10K I'll put on it?

I'm looking to own it for the next 2 years and put on 15K during that time.
Maybe 3 or 4 years
How often does something break? How much money should I keep to side
during that time? And what is common that breaks? Computers? Transmission?
etc...

My crystal ball is broken but BMW's are more expensive to service and repair than average. 55k miles is not that high so hopefully you won't have any major repairs provided that the car was cared for properly before you bought it.

A used $70,000 (new) vehicle is almost never a good buy. The 7 series BMW cars will be very expensive to fix and maintain. Buy something more practical.

Luxury and reliable? I would look at something made by Lexus and avoid the German cars.

If you have only 8K to spend consider maybe a good used Honda or Toyota. If you buy that 7 series BMW it could wipe out your bank account with 1 repair.
