08 Range Rover Hse transmission

Our  HSE automatic transmission intermittently slips when shifting.  What do
you suggest for diagnosis and repair?

Start with checking fluid condition and level,check for leaks.

Thank you. Local Range Rover dealer checked fluid level - okay. Dealer found Code P0730 - Incorrect Gear Ratio. Recommended a tranny replacement for the one time “low” price of $8296.00. We declined.

Yes with that code. Find someone reliable that would be able to rebuild it.you could save some money.
