my 08 gmc envoy is shutting off while drivine too but i looked where the fuel filter should be according to youtube and its not there. so how can i check or change my fuel filter if i cant find it?

Earlier years of the Envoy were located on the frame. Later years like yours, it's integrated into the fuel pump. Check your fuel pressure if you suspect fuel.
