On a 2008 Kia Rio, i checked my fuel pump, is gas supposed to come out of one line or both lines?

I have a 2008 Kio Rio and it cut off on me as I was driving, it started back 45 min's later and the next day it started up a few times and now it want start I took the fuel line off the pump and gas is coming through one line it has 2 on it and I can hear the pump run

Check the Crank Angle Sensor. By what you're describing, that could be the problem.
