Silverado front end noise

Asked by Mark Sep 13, 2020 at 04:02 PM about the 2008 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 1LT Crew Cab 4WD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Roaring noise from the front left. Turning the wheel slightly left makes the noise
go away. Have replaced the front left hub. Noise began after local Chevy
dealer rotated tires.

I have the same noise. But once you get over 70mph it goes away. I have rotated tires but didn’t change anything

Turns out it was the right side hub that was the problem, replaced it and viola - problem resolved.
