My 2008 Ford Edge lost all power, wrench light came on, spedometer went black, loss of accelaration, car jerks when shifted into drive/reverse. I had my fan assembly replaced because the mechanic noticed that when I turned on the AC both fans weren't coming on. This fixed the problem for about 2 weeks. Then the problem came back, so now I'm wondering what the issue is?

Most probably the TSS/OSS sensors inside the transmission caused this, and need to be replaced. Fairly common issue in the older Edges.
