Byers remorse

Asked by GuruY4K38 Mar 28, 2018 at 08:10 AM about the 2008 Chrysler Pacifica LX FWD

Question type: General

Hi We bought a 2008 Chrysler Pacifica LX.  We drove it for a few minuets.
Told them we wanted it.  But they needed to clean it up. We Signed the
papers and gave a $2,000.00 cash deposit.  We went to lunch while they
cleaned it up.  They called us when it was done.  Went to get it and it didn't
start.  Went in and tried to get our money back, to cancell the deal..  They
refused,  we left with out it.  This was Saturday, 3/24/2018.  On Monday they
called us.  They said they wanted to make it right and put a new battery in it.
And would bring it to us.  They brought it Tuesday and we asked how it
drove. They said it ran great.  We went to go to the store, backjking out of
the driveway the drivers side groaned, went on to drive it and when
accelerating the front end lifted up, like it wasn't attached and continued to
groan.Concerned we went back home, we were afraid the wheel would come
off or something else.   We want to know if we have any rights, if anything
can be done about this.   Dealership is Gates Toyota, South Bend,  IN.
Please help, we are senior citizen, 70, and have a very limited income.
Please call if there is any more information you need.  We truly appreciate
your help in this matter.
