Having A problem with my 2008 G6 2.4l I have replaced a few parts an now replacing the intake an exhaust solenoid works fine with exhaust solenoid changed out but not well with intake

It does tend to get stuck on 2000 rpm an
slow down while motor jerks a little an
seems like it want to shut off

Why replace the intake,it will be a Tps ,IAC or Maf needing replacing unless the intake is cracked or even just the intake gasket.

You might even just clean the intake to take care of this issue.

I'm also having a issue were the car won't go past 70 in to 4 gear it stays in third gear

That could be due to low air going into the intake,holding car back,check the IAC.Idle air control,and the MAF sensor

100 percent you cam position actuator solenoid it happened to me bangs when u shift from park to reverse and dont shift change that and your gold
