Leaking Coolant.

Asked by Frustrated2017 Feb 05, 2017 at 04:59 AM about the 2008 Toyota Avalon XLS

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I have a 2008 Toyota Avalon that the coolant system
was just replaced including radiator, water pump
and thermostat.  Couple of days after repair coolant
tank was empty, took it back to mechanic said air
and flushed and refilled tank.  Today pool of coolant
on garage floor.  I had just check coolant tank.
Coolant leaked while car was parked. What is the
problem? Is there a design flaw in Toyota, I have
been reading several with same problem.

Its possible the tank has a crack and leaked, there is a split in the overflow hose...
