Any leaking? Blue or grey smoke out the tailpipe? Do you drive short trips? How much consumption? Add oil when it is low. Cheap enough insurance before you have to make a repair.

    I had one dealer oil consumption test right at the end of the cutoff date. It passed at 3 quarts per 5000 miles. Now it has 140,000. If I replace pistons and rings, can I assume another 150,000 ?
