Asked by DLucerne Jul 12, 2018 at 06:46 PM about the 2008 Buick Lucerne CXL FWD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

How do I disassemble the shift selector portion of the console so that I can
replace a burnt out bulb? Please see the attached photo of my Lucerne's
shift selector.

Thank you,

I eventually located a video on youtube that assisted me with my repair. The video addresses a different problem other than my light bulb replacement. However it highlights the step/s that I needed to remove a panel that would allow access to the console shift selector area to remove and replace my bulb.My repair was successfully completed. Here is a link to the video that may help others. https://youtu.be/8zPkZeTIg2E Thanks, DLucerne
