It appears hundreds of owners are experiencing the issue of "Reduced Engine Power", This should be a GM recall.

It appears when GM decided to go from a throttle cable system, to a computerized sensor is where they made their error.  Their should be a recall issued on all GM vehicles. I was told the cost may be too high to replace each and every complaint. But, I don't want to see anyone lose a life because their vehicle stalls out, and they are forced to pull off the road to re-start.  Come on GM...please help us!

What GM vehicle do you have? Typically "Reduced Engine Power" is on diesel motors that have gone into limp mode. You should be able to hook up to obd2, scan and find codes that are causing the issues.

I agree. Why not just fix your car if its going into reduced power mode? It's a machine. It requires a little maintenance from time to time. Check for codes and go from there.
