You know, a Hyundai salesman will tell you that the timing chain, unlike a timing belt will last the life of the car., The fact that are asking means that you doubt this and I have to say that I don't have a lot of confidence in Hyundai/Kia. When it's time to replace the timing chain, it's time to REPLACE your car. Do yourself a favor, sell the car right now while it's 8 to 9 years old, perfect timing....
