Best oil to maximize fuel economy on a road trip

I have a high mileage (150K) 2008 Ford Escape V6.  About to take a 1,000 mile
road trip through VERY HOT Kansas and into the Rocky Mountains.  What
motor oil will best help maximie my fuel economy?

I think Ford specs 5W20 oil which is your best bet for fuel economy.
