I have 106,000 miles on my 2008 Ford Escape.  Should I consider changing the shocks?

Get behind the car, even get a helper and push down on the bumper with all your weight or combined weight. Push down and let go. The car should go down, come back up and stay there. Maybe a slight very slight bounce. If it keeps bouncing the shocks are bad. Or front, same.
