how do I change the brake light in a 2016 ford escape?

Open the hatch. On the side of the headlight assembly are two covers, pop those off and remove the two 8mm bolts. Then slide the headlight assembly towards the back of the car, then undo the electrical connection, then remove the bulb socket, then bulb, then reinstall.

The headlight assembly is in the front of the car. it should state taillight assembly.
