4325 lbs. for a V6 2008 Saturn Vue XR, joemom gave you the weight of a 4 cylinder FWD model. Once you add the bigger engine, and awd components the weight goes up 500 lbs! This is a very heavy vehicle for its size!

That's why it has poor gas mileage. Saturn Vue tested number 1 in safety for crash test. This vehicle is very heavy, but also very safe.

Agree, I have heard safety wise it is pretty safe, must be a lot of steel in this vehicle. It is going to be a lot to tow though once you throw it on a trailer. My Dad towed mine to the dealer after the tranny went out. We just put it on a heavy duty trailer and he pulled it with no problem using his 2500 HD Sierra.
