Blend door actuator.

Asked by Bthompson74 Jul 19, 2020 at 04:32 PM about the 2008 Mercury Grand Marquis LS

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

My husband changed the temp control module and
had the blend door actuator reset and now it stuck
and won't move is it possibly jammed? Is there a
way to move it out of heat position and turn it to ac

I got mine to go into the ac position by removing the battery cables and putting them back in place to reset the device. Turn on the Max A/C and you will hear some popping sounds while it forces the door closed. This worked for me.
