How to replace a Blend Door actuator on my 2006 Mercury Grand Marquis?

Most cars have one mode door actuator and two blend door actuator. Blend door actuators are usually, one behind the glove box and one above the accelerator peddle. Usually black boxes with an arm. I suggest you get a repair manual for your specific car to see where exactly they're located and the procedure to fix/replace them. It might be easy and it might necessitate removal of part of the dash.
