How long does it take (on average) to replace the thermostat on a 2000 Dodge Dakota by an experienced mechanic?

Have a mechanic coming to my home to fix the thermostat on my truck. He's a
trusted mechanic doing this out of kindness. Just need approximate time it
could take to see if I should reschedule a "hard to get" appointment.
