how do i find and replace lifters on 2000 dodge dakota

i hear a ticking noise i dont think its push rods and i do not know where to
loacte lifters or anything ive pulled valve cover off and seen springs what
looked like rocker arms held in by a bolt and rush rods that are under neath i
cleaned push rods re oiled them new valve cover gasket but still do not know
where the ticking is exact sounds like its still coming from driver side.

Time for some tough love.....If you can't find the lifters you have no business working on your engine. Get a qualified mechanic to look at it. It could have low oil pressure or a host of other issues.
