Replaced starter Santa fe started up. My wife got up to drive next morning wouldn't turn over. Returned home from work and Santa fe cranked up. my wife went to drive it the next day wouldn't turn over. She has her key with remote so do I. Can her remote be defective causing the starter interrupt to engage???

Not sure if/when they went to "programmable" remotes, but since they are electronic, regardless if they are programmable or not, I would say it is a definite possibility. So, when you try your key and it starts right up, have you immediately tried starting it with hers right after that? That should tell you if it is her key or not.
