Not heating up

Question type: Maintenance & Repair
Just took my 2006 Sienna on a long winter trip.
Thermostat housing failed and was replaced. Days
later when it was 20 below zero, it comes halfway
to operating temperature when parked idling. But
as soon as it gets on the highway, engine temp
drops to bottom, and there is no heat inside.

Check the coolant level? What coolant did you use - is it rated for this sort of extreme cold? Get all the trapped air out of system?

Agree with Ken sounds like some air is still trapped in cooling system.
Did someone leave the thermostat out when replacing the housing?
