No code on my rear end

I broke the axle in my tahoe and I'm looking  for a  
used rear end a I can find the code on my rear diff i
have look ever on the rear end and I tried to look it
up by vin and can't find nothing

check the door sticker, there should be an axle code there to find out which gear ratio you have.

Look for the RPO sticker. It's usually on the inside of the glove box door or under the spare tire cover. It will say in big letters at the top DO NOT REMOVE. You will see a bunch of letters and numbers in groups of three. Those are your option codes. Take a picture of it and visit your local Chevrolet Dealer. They can tell you what axle you have from the information on the sticker. Hope that helps! Jim
