Question type: Shopping & Pricing

Hi I bought a 1966 convertible today 289 v8( I got this because the VIN number had an A) it looks great inside, some rust and the engine is original. the convertible however is white, and it has been painted red, not the original color. I paid 8k. they were asking 10k

Definitely depends on how much rust you're talking about. If it's surface rust than you're fine, if it's got holes you can stick your fingers through, you payed a little too much. Some pics of the rust would be great, join allfordmustangs.com it's a forum where all if your questions about your mustang can be answered. I myself am a member, I have a 1967 Mustang Coupe C code that I put an LS1 in, this forum is great for all of your troubles. Just be sure to go to the classic section.
