Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I have an 2006 Audi A4 Quattro 2.0L Turbo.  I was driving and the car just stopped.  I
have a pressure tester that I used to test the fuel line pressure.  I assumed it was the fuel
pump. So, I replaced it.  The car still does not start. But, when I spray ether into the
throttle body, it starts.  What could be the issue ????? Please help
