Audi A4 not starting

Asked by Digu Oct 07, 2017 at 01:24 PM about the 2008 Audi A4 2.0T Sedan FWD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I have Audi A4 2008 2L. When cranking to start, it
started after three turns. Car was recently serviced.
I also replaced since then coils, gesket, spark plugs
and coolent temperature sensor. Car doesn't
completely start now. Makes no sound when key is
turned in ignition. What else could be the possible
problem. It had clocked about 168 000 km. Timing
belt was also replaced around 120 000km service

Battery is also new. Was put on testing machine and shows voltage is good. It keeps on throwing out collent temperature sensor despite this having been replaced twice in three weeks. No.We are dump struck as to the cause of car not completely starting

I still have the engine starting problem especially in the mornings. Full wire routing test was done and all is ok. I imported from UK and was advised to replace catalytic converter. This was done. Now the car can crank but starts only at their or fourth attempt. Fuel pump was tested and is working. What else could be the problem than be.
