Heating issue

Asked by Brandi Jan 24, 2018 at 08:14 PM about the 2007 Chevrolet Malibu LTZ FWD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I would like to know possible ideas as to what might being
going on with my car’s heating system. The heat works
temperature wise. The front of the car gets warm on the
inside, the back seat is still a bit chilly. The windows will
defrost sometimes. but they will literally fog up while
driving and the car will just become humid and steamy.
Can someone please tell me what might be going on.

the fogging up windshield, humid and steamy condition you describe may be a leaking heater core
