I was sold 2007 chevy cobalt 4 Cylinder ss and told it was a super charged Can I put a super charged engine in a ss 4 cylinder

I was told up on buying it was a super charged only to find
out over time it was not.. so now  I want to know can I turn
it into a super or turbo  charged or do I of to get rid of it??

It as a Manual transmission so that's how he got me cause as I was reading up on 07 cobolts online it said only 3 models where made and only the manual version had a supercharged engine.. so am still surprised mine is not

A supercharger will probably cost as much as the car is worth. Just my two cents.

It's in the shop right now but it's not supercharged tho i was looking at supercharged engines and there's no supercharger on the front of mine

That's a 2.4 liter engine with a cool air intake... it's not supercharged or turbo charged. The supercharger would be in the front where the intake is (chrome pipe in front) and if it was turbo charged the intake would be connected in the back.
