What would cause the clutch in my 2007 kia spectra to work sometimes and other times it has no pressure and will not engage? If you let the car sit for a little bit then it will engage just fine!

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I have a 2007 kia spectra that my daughter received as a graduation present.
As I mentioned, sometimes it works just fine and other times the clutch will
have no pressure and will not engage. After you let the car sit for awhile it will
be fine! I am so confused.

Sounds like a bad clutch master cylinder that is if the clutch system is hydraulic.
