how do you fix the ignition from sticking and not turning in a 2007 kia optima

Asked by ladyfox Jun 21, 2015 at 02:35 PM about the 2007 Kia Optima LX

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I tried to start my car the other day and the key would not turn at all. I tried to move the steering wheel it did not work. I made sure that the car was in the park position all the way it was. I keep trying the steering wheel nothing worked. I was able to get the key out, however when it put it back in to try to start the car it still would not turn. So I messed with the steering wheel some more and again made sure it was in park. yes it was. I did finely go it to turn and start. How can I fix this problem so it want happen again.
