the engine light is on in my 2006 hummer3. it is not flashing. my truck is running fine. Any ideas?

Go have it scanned. Autozone does it for free, then they can tell you what's wrong and why the light is on. If it runs fine its probably an emissions code, o2 sensor, egr valve, evap codes, ect.
