2001 93 SE convertible

2001 93 SE convertible
Top has hard top portion all the way vertical and
stopped in process of opening.  I turned car off and
let it set.  Restarted and it is still hung up.  What do
I do?

My purse is small, in trunk and shouldn’t be a problem; but because hard top portion is blocking I cannot of course open trunk or drive as the hard cover to convertible hold is vertical. What to do?
