What do I have to do to put a 1987 454 in my 91 comaro
rs 5 speed not sure on the transmission

ALOT of work and downtime. First off youll probably need to work the firewall for clearence, fabricate a new transmission tunnel, have a custom driveshaft fabricated, get a rear end that can handle the extra power, get new springs up front to handle the extra weight but on the bright side there's probably motor and trans mounts avaialable for the swap.The end result will be a car thats fast in a strait line but handles like a shopping cart. If you want more power you could have your motor (you haven't stated whats in it), trans and rear end built for a fraction of the cost of a proper 454 build and swap or do a small block swap (If you have a v6) cheaper and easier
