High and low head lamps are not adquate insufficient lighting.

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Have replace standard high & low head lamp bulbs with a white /higher lumin bulbs with little improvement. Currently utilizing high beams all the time and it does not, create a problem on-coming traffic. Have taken veh. to toyota dealer no answers. Help!!

Are your outer lenses all cloudy and milky like someone took 800 grit emery cloth to them? If they are, go to your local auto store and look for polish for the headlights. I think Mothers makes one. Should come with a buffer that attaches to your cordless drill. Once you use this stuff you will be amazed at how bright your lights are. If your outer lenses aren't crystal clear and vibrant, this may be your issue.
