High beams and normal head lights switch backwards

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

So my high beams turn on when I set my
lights to the normal headlight switch but when
I turn the high beams on the lights that should
be the normal headlights turn on. It’s like the
switch is backwards and turns on the wrong
bulbs. My options are either high or higher. I
get cars flashing their brights at me all the
time.
