1995 Silverado with 5.7 engine. It shows 50 pounds of oil pressure with no oil coming from the push rods. After about 5 minutes the oil begins to seep out. After about 10 minutes oil is oozing from all push rods but does not squirt out. I've seen chevy engines squirt the oil all over the engine bay. Is this a change made for adjusting the valves without using rags to stop the squirting oil? 2 Answers

Chevy 5.7 4wd Bought it without the oil dipstick tube in, have no idea where it goes, and can't find anything online. Please help, need pictures or something where it goes. Thank you
