Why is my truck stalling?

Asked by PlainHorse Dec 01, 2015 at 03:02 PM about the 1993 Chevrolet C/K 1500 Cheyenne Stepside RWD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

It turns on for about five seconds
and the dies, sometimes it last and
when I go to drive it dies, like it
sputters.
If I press down hard on the gas pedal
it keeps it from dying but it surges
and then dies.
I replaced the fuel filter and the
injectors seem to be working fine. It
did this to a week ago and I let it sit
for about half an hour and then it
turned on normal and I drove home
and it worked fine for the whole
week but know it's the same and just
won't keep from stalling. Please help
its my only means of transportation
