Asked by Tx_WildChild Apr 14, 2018 at 08:50 AM about the 1998 Chevrolet C/K 1500 Silverado Extended Cab RWD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

1998 Chevy Silverado brake lights do not work, tail lights
work. 3rd light on cab stays on when truck is turned off,
hazard button is also stuck, can not press it down. I
replaced the brake light switch fixed my problem tell i hit
the brakes. An ex boyfriend unplugged to make the cruise
control stay off because of brake lights not working. When
i had set the cruise before it wouldnt stop by hittin brakes.
I had to turn it off on the turn signal switch. I also put
aftermarket headlights and brake lights everything worked
before except the brake lights worked half the time.  Help!
