** I'M NOT A PROFESSIONAL ** There are 2 transmissions that whent into 1997 to 2005 Park avenues one for base PA's (MN3 build sheet code) and MN7 for the PA Ultra's. You can find a option code list for your car in the form of a white sticker on the inside bottom face of your trunk lid. As long as the are both the same MN3 -MN3 or MN7 - MN7 there shouldn't be an issue. If they are different then they are probably different gear ratios and will change the way it shifts and possible other issues.
