Question type: Car Customization

The side molding on my buick park ave has deteriorated and one side is even cracked so I need to replace both sides but it seems difficult and expensive to get replacement parts.

Defcon makes a two part epoxy (holds 3,500 lbs) you can glue the cracked area with that. Then apply the siding to the car with 3M doubled side tape (heavy duty) it will hold spoilers and air dams with no problem at high speeds. So some siding on your car will be no problem.

All the cheap auto part catalogs (JCWhitney, et al) sell rolls of self-adhesive generic moldings. They won't exactly match the factory molding but if you're replacing the whole length of it no one will ever know.
