If it the maintenance light then it’s time for a oil and filter change and the light reset. If it’s the check engine light then the codes need to be pulled and diagnostics ran on the systems listed.

Site did accept my first answer so I'll try again. If it is the maintenance light then the oil and filter need changed and the light timer reset. If it's the check engine light then the codes need to be pulled and the diagnostics perform on the systems listed.

These vehicles are confusing and do have a maintenance reminder light that's very similar to the "Service Engine Soon" (check engine) light. Visit your local auto parts store and have them scan the computer for trouble codes. Most stores will do it for free. If you have no codes it's a maintenance reminder to change your oil and possibly perform other preventative maintenance as per the vehicle's maintenance schedule. Hope that helps! Jim
