Why do I gotta pump my brakes once before it works on 06 pt cruiser limited

The shop couldn't even figure it out got all
new brakes and blead them still does it
worse in the cold and only sometimes fluid
disappears and no visible leaks

Sounds like there is still air in the system. Since you have an 06 you have an ABS module which can make bleeding the brakes tricky if air got into that part. Give the shop

Sorry, hit send on my phone too soon. Give the shop one more shot at it. If they can't fix it then take it to a reputable shop. Brakes are the last thing you want not working correctly.

Illiteracy ! I cannot tell for certain what the problem is - kindly elaborate .. AND , I do not THINK all cruisers have ABS !
