fails to start when key is turned on

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

5 speed manual transmission, 105000 kms. Gauge lights come on, but no
firing or other sounds. Will start after several attempts seemingly if I move
move my foot to a different position resulting in changing the pressure point.
Help please.

Did not try jump starting as it will start wth several attempts. (Also, when I mentioned moving my foot above, basically I meant changing the pressure point on the clutch pedal). Will check the voltage later

Clutch arm was slightly bent causing damage to the clutch switch. Both repaired. Thanks
